“Ghosts of Virginia” author coming to Sandusky
L.B. Taylor, author of the popular “Ghosts of Virginia” books, will give a presentation at Historic Sandusky at 2 p.m. Saturday. Following his presentation, Taylor will be available for a discussion and book signing.
Cost is $5 per person and includes tours of the Sandusky House, which start at 1 p.m.; entry into the house’s Civil War museum; and the presentation. A membership meeting for the National Paranormal Coalition will follow at 3 p.m.

Red Roosters play show
The Red Roosters duet, with guest upright bass player Robin Tolley, will be playing at Milano’s in Boonsboro from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Aug. 4.
The roosters, Gene Temple and Glenn McGrath, are former Blue Newt Band musicians who now perform an eclectic mix of acoustic blues, Hawaiian and Americana, featuring the slide steel guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele and harmonica.
